Who we are

Legacy Coaches Network (“LCN,” “we,” “us”) operates a football recruiting service and the LCN athlete portal (web + iOS app).

Minors & parental consent

• The portal is intended for high-school football athletes (generally 13–18), their parents/guardians, and LCN staff. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or provide personal information — the app blocks under-13 at sign-up.
• For athletes under 18 (minors), an account becomes active for messaging and film only after a parent or legal guardian is linked and provides verifiable consent in the app. Until then, the minor cannot send messages or post film.
• Parents/guardians can view all of the minor’s in-app messages (transcripts), request access, and request deletion of the minor’s data at any time via [EMAIL].

What we collect

• Account data: name, email, date of birth (to verify age/eligibility), role (athlete / parent / coach / agent).
• Recruiting data: schools of interest, recruiting status/offers, coach evaluations, messages you send.
• Film: links you paste to third-party video (YouTube, Hudl, Vimeo, Instagram, X, Streamable). We store the link plus your title/tags; the video lives on the third-party platform under their terms.
• Guardianship links: the relationship between a minor athlete and their parent or guardian.
• Technical: standard app and auth logs needed to operate and secure the service.
• We do not sell personal information.

How we use it

To operate the recruiting service: connect athletes with LCN coaches, coordinate with college programs through our coaches, store film, enable parent-visible messaging, and maintain a recruiting record. We use a service-role-restricted backend (Supabase) with row-level security so users only see what they are permitted to.

Who we share it with

• LCN coaches and agents assigned to the athlete (to do the recruiting work).
• The athlete’s parent or guardian (transcripts and recruiting data).
• Service providers (e.g. Supabase for database/auth/hosting) under contract. [SUB-PROCESSOR LIST]

Data retention & deletion

You (or a minor’s parent/guardian) may request account and data deletion at any time via [EMAIL] or in-app from Settings. An append-only audit log of safeguarding-relevant events is retained for [PERIOD] for child-safety and compliance reasons.

Security

Row-level-security database, encrypted transport, restricted service-role access kept server-side, an under-13 block, and parent visibility into minors’ communications. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users of material incidents as required by law.

Your rights

Third-party platforms
